I am a researcher at RAND, where I work on strategy, defense analysis, and emerging technology.

My research has been published in forums including International Security, Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, and War on the Rocks.

Before coming to RAND, I earned a PhD in political science from MIT, where I was a member of the Security Studies Program. My dissertation looked at how countries manage their economic relationships with their security competitors.

During graduate school, I spent a year at Harvard as a pre-doctoral research fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. I also served two stints as a RAND Summer Associate before I eventually joined full time.

Prior to graduate school, I graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown with a B.S. in Foreign Service and an M.A. in Security Studies.
